I have a very small personal webpage and I am currently at phpwebhosting. I can only say good things about them, except for their price which is a little on the high side. So I want to check out the other possibilities.

What I need:
1. Less than $10/month
2. 75-300 mb
3. 5 or more ftp accounts
4. 1-3 gb transfer
5. At least 5 subdomains

I also prefer a host that has been around for over a year. And I prefer to pay by check. Have any suggestions? :D

There are lots of hosts out there to suit your needs. Do a search on these forums for a start, and stay away from the hosts mentioned on UnlimBand.com.

Regarding that you prefer to pay by cheque, is there any particular reason for this? In terms of security, I'd actually recommend paying by credit card, as you'll be able to do a "charge back" (e.g. get your money back), if your new host tries to rip you off. You can't usually do this with a cheque.
