Now well I am requesting to have a program made to which I have full rights to. My MSN is: PunkAssGG@gmail.com My AIM is: PunkAssGG

Now well for the details...

What I want this program to do?
I want this program to allow people to connect directly using IP's to be able to play Trading Card Games such as Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic the Gathering, & Pokemon.

Well yugioh pokemon and mtg are the only three games i want to be playable. I would also like the program to be a bit graphic intense... Such as having the images of the cards on the cards... Hopefully someone can help. My budget starts from 1 grand and higher. If you are interested contact me...

Not that this will impact the developer who chooses to take this project on but you do realize that you require license rights to the images/games to do this legally right?

I wouldn't blow a grand just to get a letter from a copyright lawyer shutting you down if I were you.

i'm pretty sure if he doesnt use it to make any profit, and he shows that the company (Wizard Coast?) owsn them, then hes allowed to use them, you know, kinda like citing in an essay :P

What he said.. lol Besides there is another website doing it and they are a pretty well known site. No problems with them and they don't have any official connections with Konami...

Hey, it's your money just wanted to give you a piece of advice to save you some troubles down the road :)

I'd still recommend spend 20 mins with a lawyer to determine the legality of this before you shell out the cash.

Basically you are using images that belong to someone else, a set of game rules developed and copyrighted by someone else and making a game that will directly compete with a licensed software application (The Magic videogame) that did pay to license these.

You can't claim fair use, and you can't claim that you aren't doing this for profit.

Now with the above, do you think that sounds legal?

Like I said, it's your money. I just hate to see people waste their money because they don't want to do a little upfront time with a lawyer.
