Hello,

This question pertains to a cPanel box running Core 2.

Up until yesterday, all of my users coudl check their email by setting their username to [username] in their mailer (ie. Netscape Mail) having their mail server as mail.domain.com

Yesterday, I added a reseller to my box and now, all of the users MUST check their email by setting their username to [username@domain.com] when checking their mail (through their mailer).

Does anyone know why this happened and if there is a way to revert back to checking mail using a plain username (without the @domain appended)?

You're help is appreciated.

You may have been only using the Neomail earlier. And as Horde and the Squirellmail requires full email address to log in, the users require to type the full mail address now.

This I know... it's always been like that.

The problem is with a desktop client like Netscape Mail or Outlook Express (not webmail).
