Hi,

I am looking for a cheap and efficeint way to get hits to my site. Since nobody sells customers, you need hits, if you know any good websites out there that makes you get hits, just let me know.

These search engines are killing me. Eversince they changed their system to money making machines they seem to screw up, Its been months and i'm still not listed.

Are there any low budget advertising solutions ?

Basiclly I need hits and really good hits, also check out my site opions are welcome.

Thanks,

palmtree

Two words:

Sorry to burst your bubble, Raqworld, but meta tags are not that important for getting good search engine positioning and automated services like SubmitIt are a waste of money. There is actually no need to keep re-submitting your site after it has been included, it doesn't make a blind bit of difference so the likes of SubmitIt are not helpful.

If you want success via the search engines at low cost, you need to concentrate your energies on Google, AlltheWeb/Fast/Lycos (until their own paid-inclusion program kicks in) and the new kids on the block - Teoma (which provides results to Ask Jeeves) and Wisenut.

What you need is good keyword rich content and lots of it, title and heading tags that use your keywords and inbound links.

I'm no expert on web hosting, but I would save your $50. I reckon a better investment would be an affiliate program. www.shareasale.com, for example, has a promotion where you sign up for a cost of $150, plus you need to keep about $50 in your account with them to pay affiliates.

This way you really pay only for sign-ups and you will attract plenty of traffic from those big portal sites that make all their money this way.

I reckon this a better bet than spending money on banner ads.

Yeah, AdWords - that's a good idea, but I would avoid the obvious terms like 'web hosting' and 'web host', otherwise your money will be gone before you know it.

Variants on 'webhosting' (all one word) would be good though, ie:

'affordable webhosting'
'webhosting services'
'cheap webhosting'

that kind of thing - that should restrict the number of page views and target potential customers better.

Quality traffic and conversions is the key here.

yeah checked out google adwords
hmm
i think i get the idea there...target marketing...target words...

once you do search on web host you get like 10 ads already, its like a joke, thanks with the advise really...

if you need help or consultancy on graphic design I can help you out.

Try a web host search directory

I suggest hostsearch.com

:)

ok, I did that already
if you do a search on nemonics.net you get those host index sites. but the problem is you never get to stick out. All those sites have custom settings that sound like a great idea, are a actual failure. Because the busness is growing and what you get is a desk to introduce yourself.

Think you go and add yourself to more that 10 indexes, every index has a login account, and you have set everything up that is complex and tiring...

thanks for the advise though
