Former resellers, when you moved on to dedicated servers for your hosting, what did you do? Drop your current customers and start over? Transfer all your customers over? How did you do that?

Most reseller providers should be able to help you move your clients to a dedicated server. Its a little bit of work but if you first create the accounts, upload the content, forward the IPs and then change the DNS, it should work perfectly fine :)

Kiwi,
If I could jump on the band wagon. Do you have an opinion as to which works best (I'm only moving hosting companies, but I want to minimize downtime for my resold domains). Would you:

1) Set up 2 new Name Servers (e.g. NS3.NAMESERVER.COM and NS4.NAMESERVER.COM) and then migrate each one the new domains one at a time from the old name server to the new name server pairs.

- or -

2) Set up all the accounts on the new server, then change the IP address of the domain nameserver to the new IP's all at one time (leaving the DNS names the same).

THANKS!!!!!
