Tranz 02-07-2002, 12:56 AM Ok, have to toss mine in. Most people seem to like this one: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=246009
Took me about an hour to build. I can do something like this yet different. I never build two sites the same. Because I dont remember what I did on the last one.
Sites are designed for 800x600 browser centered, can go 1005 of browser. Cross browser compliant on all platforms. Fast loading and can be static or dynamicly driven from a database.
Site is designed from outside in. Meaning that your vision is convey, but the end user viewing your vision was though of first. Is it going to work for them?
Do a search on my user name for other posts that I have out including my other sites designs and usability suggestions.
JBIZ718 02-07-2002, 01:07 AM They are all looking nice, please keep them coming
Professional and clean.
We will contact you in a few days
Joe
Bannaz 02-07-2002, 12:02 PM as we have already said...we don't place out templates to be bough as a shop really...what we do is design a template to your specifications...to an excellent price which compete with most of the prices you see here.
If you'd like us to give you a quote on the project you are going for, please feel free to contact us: support@chewnet.com
Thanks,
Chewnet

OverSkilled 02-07-2002, 08:44 PM Yes, you don't need to repeat yourself.
Tranz 02-08-2002, 10:07 AM Chew,
Damn you try hard...
OverSkilled 02-08-2002, 10:16 AM Ya he does, it annoys me.
Bannaz 02-08-2002, 11:50 AM All part of our service.
Tranz 02-09-2002, 02:42 AM Chew,
Service is not advertisment and, or marketing. Business 101.
Yourwork needs to speak for itself, and right now from the designs, its not yelling to loudly.
I dont mean to be rude. I just dont see your designs are of a quality that there needs to be boasting and, or gorilla marketing. Does this style of self promotion get you a great deal of clients?
I get mine by proving I can do the work and the level of design that I put out.
In some way or another we all find ways to promote but your tactics come off the wrong way.
A client doesnt need to be told you are the best, from your work they should be able to feel that you provide the best services and design skill to complete their project, and yes this means being the most cost effective soltuion as well.
OverSkilled 02-09-2002, 02:49 AM Glad you had the guts to start the drama Tranz, I give ya props!
:) *Claps*

ProdigySeven 02-12-2002, 01:45 AM I agree with Tranz. Chewnet is a bit "cocky" and pushy for someone of his level of skill. Not to be rude or disrespectful, but it's the truth. We're all newbies sometime, but we just need to know where we stand when we're trying to provide service in return for people's hard earned money.

Sounds pretty rude and disrespectful to me!
Simon
ProdigySeven 02-12-2002, 02:25 PM Unfortunatly you forgot to post the rest of my quote. Also, how do you think that's rude? I specifically said, as you can see, that it wasn't meant to be rude, so that validates that it wasn't. Thanks though.
