at /var/log/kernel I found many of this records from Feb 3

Feb 3 09:25:50 www kernel: possible SYN flooding on port 80. Sending cookies.

We have a network issue recently that involved flooding. We were able to
stop it without alerting customers. that error sounds like it''s a part of
that. I wouldn''t worry unless it continues for a period of time.
