3 times in the last 2 days on WHT when using a link such as showthread.php instead of the page loading my browser asks me if want to save or open the php file as if I was downloading a file, it only does this on WHT and when it occured it did it in opera,firefox and IE it seems to go away after an hour so.

It sounds like PHP isnt correctly married to IE (Or whatever browser your using) I havent seen that on WHT here luckily........But this could be your problem.....

if that was the case it wouldnt happen at random times.

It hasnt happened for a few days now tho so seems the problem is fixed.

Are you sure you weren't holding your alt key while pressing it?

It happens to me all the time, as i multitask furiously between multiple windows using alt+tab.

yes I am fully sure, it has happened to me on one other occasion tho and that when my web server didnt have the php setup in httpd.conf which made me think perhaps configuration changes were been done but since noone else has had the issue I guess this isnt the case.
