Figured there are always enough ****.com support sucks threads I'd start a ****.com did good thread :)

apparently the powersupply in my server went bad... all i know was I was on our irc server chatting then it disconnected.

anyhoo... let me give a short timeline

12:12 - file ticket
12:16 - support says powersupply dead and will email me when servers back
12:29 - asks for root password
12:41 - servers up

I was just amazed at how fast they worked... even middle of the night they're snappy and helpful. If every host would show this kind of service the world would be a better place :D

Yes they are a good host, we have dedicated servers with them for over 6 months now,

I had a problem on my server some time ago and they gave me a brand new machine and moved my data to new server.

they are however not the best that we came across , Only Rackspace is better then them, but overall we are also very happy with them,

Well since they charge twice as much for a comparable package I'd hope their support would be willing to take a bullet for me :D

I know this is an old post but anyone have anythoughts on these two hosts?

We have servers in both and seem to get pretty good service from both. We want to combine all our servers to one location but wanted other people thoughts... Maybe you have had problems that we have not had..

catalog allows irc?

I was wondering the same thing myself when I read that old post.. I don't think they do.. Well maybe back before we where with them???
