hey everyone! I am new on this board, and Im so glad I found it.

My question is, my merchant account provider which soon will be Charge.com says they have free shopping carts. NOW, does this mean that when a customer clicks on the buy button, out comes there window with a secured network and a checkout button?

OR

Do I have to manually create a script to accept credit cards and hten when the credit cards are put through.. I then go ahead and run them through he virtual gateway?

Thankx in advance, your help will be appretiated! :)

Oh and btw, the web store is not complete but it is here if you want to see waht I am talking about.. www.impostercity.com

You're right - there's no information on charge.com regarding that aspect at all.

I did notice the hefty fees though - ouch!!

Generally speaking, such places will give an example on how to implement their system - the charge.com site does not.

I was commenting on their hefty fees.

Hey dood!

I think I made up my mind, I will be going with Charge.com and guess what? They lowered there rates for me to buy the gateway outright for only "95" bux because I negotiated with them and told them that other sites are cheaper.

They also showed me an example of there shopping cart system, check it out! http://www.gotchocolates.com

They also said it is fully customizable.

laterz and thankx! ;)
