What do you consider "too much" for an email newsletter? What is a good limit? Do you impose and hourly restriction?
This is for shared servers.. not dedicated.
ie: I feel that sending 10,000 emails within 1 hour for a newsletter, on a shared server, is too much. It kills the server, and results in all other customers complaining that mail is slow, etc..
Such a newsletter should be outsourced, and NOT using a shared email server to send mail.
What do you think? What limits do you impose on your customers for sending email?
