Ive sent an e-mail to ssl@ev1.net but trying to get a reply from them is trying to wake the dead. so I thought id ask on here and see if anyone could help....
Im trying to order a $4.95 ssl from EV1 but during the registration
process I get the following error messgae:
ERROR!
Your Credit Card was declined: Address Mismatch
Please make sure the address you entered is the address associated with
this credit account. If you are unsure of the address, please refer to
your latest credit card bill.
But I know my address is 100% correct. any ideas? could it be because I
live in the uk?

Have you moved recently? The address will be the one that you use with the bank that the card is attached to.
Cheap is good, but it's usually nasty too. Shop around and try another SSL merchant.

The SSL cert is good. We have a few clients that use that one & they have reported no problems with it. It could be that the AVS does not match because of ZIP code issues depending on what gateway they use. AVS used to only be for the United States but we have now been seeing the AVS used for other parts of the world, including Russia.

AVS is address verification service. This is an archaic means basically to help prevent fraud on the internet. It usually uses the numeric portion of the address

Their sales department might be closed for the holidays unfortunately. If you are not in too much of a hurry, you might wait until Monday when things get back to somewhat normalcy over here
