I've never done this before, here's the situation...

Someone has a domain I want and is willing to give it to me. It was registered with GoDaddy and I have an Enom account. How can he push that domain to my Enom account? What do I need to tell him to do?

Any help is appreciated!

You can't "push" it from GoDaddy to eNom. They are two separate registrars.

But you CAN transfer it from GoDaddy by initiating a transfer from your eNom account. You will have to pay an additional year's registration fee to transfer it.

Low on cash? You can open a free GoDaddy account and then your friend can push it into your GoDaddy account for free.

what 4solutions said.

first issue should be getting control of the domain. open godaddy account, have domain pushed to your account, then transfer if you want.

you cant transfer the domain out of godaddy if it was just recently transferred from account to another account at godaddy.

have to wait for 60 days

I think it's actually 90 days you have to wait. It is a real pain.

so the better option is just to initiate a transfer from enom :)

of course the person who is trhe owner of this account should confirm the transfer.
