Did someone trip on the backbone?
http://www.internettrafficreport.com
There's some weird routing going on too. Anybody else see anything?

More likely it was a problem with internettrafficreport.com itself. I can reach a lot of sites without problem.

internet traffic report does that from time to time :)
Well here is something to ponder on... If you could reach the website, how the hell could the backbones be down.. You should email them and ask hehe. :)

I admit it. I took the backbone down. I needed it for about 30 minutes. I'll send out an announcement next time.

Yeah, internettrafficreport went back to normal a few moments later, and it looks like they threw out the bad data, but since then we did lose connectivity to AT&T and Alter.net a couple times (at work, not the datacenter). Seems stable in the last hour now.
Thewitt: It's too early for the yearly Internet cleaning, isn' t it? I think that's in April.
Heh, maybe somebody had to make a phone call and unplugged it.
