I was planning to open a shopping store using Ikobo payment service and their own shipping cart. Since I cannot use paypal because of my country and 2checkout is receiving too much dos attacks lately. Other reason I dont have too much money to spend and this proyect is just for testing.

About the shopping carts: (Recommendations please...)

Ikobo shopping cart , now it offers more options like multiple shipping, product limits and other options. I was going to integrate it manually on html pages with buy buttons and viewcart. Donīt know if https: folders or ssl is needed? Other problem I think they have is the spanish Checkout page, I only see it on english.

Oscommerce, the most famous option with Ikobo new payment module. The problem with this script I have never been able to install it locally for two years trying. I get php4ts.dll error! I just want to configure the templates and test it locally.

Cubecart, I like a lot this shopping cart for customers look. I even was able to add some options by myself. The problem is I cannot get the Ikobo module.

zen-cart, I has a lot of payment modules, but lack of information about people using it. They donīt have the Ikobo module officially.

I know Ikobo has the lowest fees, but is an option to begin with. Something I need to see with my eyes, an ecommerce site with multiple Ikobo buy buttons for products, on differente pages generated with Ikobo shopping cart, anyone seen one?
Any ideas, thanks

Thanks

I was able to install oscommerce on the server I am using, not locally. Now the question is:

Zen-cart or Oscommerce?

What is the difference between 7dana Oscommerce and the one from the Oscommerce page?

Zen Cart = lots of features(maybe overmuch for unexperienced user)
Oscommerce = better support, available tons of contributions

Ecommerce Manager from 7dana.com is modified osCommerce release with many bugfixes and some contributions already pre-installed.
