Im wondering if anyone has looked into a merchant from their local bank? I do banking with US Bank and I noticed on their site they offer some kind of e-commerce merchant account. Anyone have a merchant account with their local bank? Im thinking it maybe handy having one less thing to deal with.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend getting an Internet merchant account from most banks... and I say that simply because just about all of the banks that I've worked with over the years have very little understanding of the nuances involved with "card not present" credit card processing.
Many of them are reluctant to approve such accounts in the first place and - even more importantly - trying to get any kind of support on any technical issues would be problematic at best.
If you called them up and explained that you were having trouble getting something working properly with your payment gateway or billing package - they'd likely just say "sorry - talk to them" and the finger pointing game would likely ensue.
All that being said - I think that getting a merchant account from a bank can be ok for more "typical" merchant types - such as the bricks & mortar retail stores, restaurants, etc.

I agree with Chris. Check what organization they might use. Most banks outsource this or have partnerships (like Chase & First Data). Reading US Bank site, they do support Level II and Level III data solutions - which most processors do these days but with them placing that on their site - one might wonder why that & no other information really?
At least it is on their website & it is totally understandable you want to give them your business. Check to see what company do they use as well as what electronic payment gateway. They might be able to support you fully. Unfortunately with the information that is on their site it is difficult to say
