Hey Michael, how much is bandwidth charged on the mailing list? What are the limitations on use?

The account includes 2gigabyte of bandwidth, additional bandwidth is charged at $5 per gig. The only other restrictions is that the account cannot under any cirumstances be involved in the unsolicited emailing of people. (SPAM).

If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me.

By the tracert, I'm assuming you're a VDI reseller, Michael. Isn't there a limitation of 1000 names per list on that; or am I mistaken in this? Perhaps I've confused it with another system.

Yes that is correct there is a limit of 1000 emails per list.

Michael, I might suggest so stating at http://www.yadnum.com/hosting/specials.htm -- it could well save you awkward and unneeded misunderstandings.

Good to see you up and running. Good luck with it.

Thanks for the input. I will be sure to adjust the page and state that.

Thanks again.

How did you know.
Traceroute goes to vdi-newyorkcity-gateway and that's all.
Same for people with PIII dedicated servers at VDI.
I think you should mention this on a private email to
the owner of yadnum but not here on public forums.

The question was concerning a possible inadvertant oversight on Mr. Munday's publication of details concerning the offering of VDI reseller-based mailing lists -- which could have caused him needless complications.

To answer your question, the nature of his operation and the specific IP block involved indicate a reseller. If Mr. Munday were offering other arrangements, he would clearly have responded accordingly. This is why I asked the question -- to pursue clarification.

As is, in the manner of a responsible operator, I am very pleased to note Mr. Munday immediately amended his site documentation to properly reflect the service he provides.
