Just got an email from iKobo. Once again they are not accepting MasterCard payments from customers. I wonder what the problem is? They weren't accepting MasterCard for a few months, then started to accept for a few months, and now wont accept again.

I wonder if they have trod on MasterCard's toes?? It's not good for our business.

This is why you should stay on the safe side, and use more than one payment gateway for online biz !
Add another one, big guys like others, they obey certain deals and startegies at work.

Thanks for your suggestion. We also use StormPay for backup. Don't know what iKobo are doing.... it's quite pathetic their operations at times.

Ikobo is not accepting Master card for temporary or for good?

I think it is temporary. Most probably MasterCard are more strict than Visa, and hence they need to change their policies before MasterCard will accept future transactions. I don't know what exactly they require though.

It's weird though, because the board of directors for both MasterCard and Visa occupy seats on both sides to ensure one company doesn't outdo the other.
