I have a reseller account that is suppose to be 20 Gig of space.
I have about 500 megs used at this time and there is only 2 gigs left on the server?
It is a virtual hosting account, and I thought that I would be reserving 20 gigs on the hard drive?
Also thinking that I could keep the account fast!...LOL
Come to find out after looking at the root, the hard drive is a 40 gig and is full...2 gig left.
I do have root access, and the price is only $19.95 a mo.
I guess that I am going to learn the hard way...LOL

I am new here, and dont think that I will let on to the name of my host "YET", but it will come in time ;)

This site is great!!!....I checked out my host by doing a search on them here and found out that they are......:rolleyes: If you know what I mean...:)
Anyway, I have decided to build my own server...LOL...and am looking for a free, Web Host Management software?

The Band Width is 150 gigs.
But, this post is a kind of complaint...:D
The database goes down all the time!!!... so if your sites just run html only it would be fine...;)

What else do you need in $19.95 (20Gb Space and 150Gb BW).

You should be happy that server is still up and running, in that cost if database goes down for couple of days you should be fine and not complaint at all. :D

My site is hosted at my reseller host.
But, I have had my own dedicated server before and the down time was much less.
How can you sell something that is down all the time?
I may be new to reselling hosting but not new to having websites and traffic to servers ;)
I have been selling hosting by selling cloned websites, and if you just so happen to get someone who actually promotes their site, and gets some real traffic that can use the bandwidth, it will kill the server:(

I really dont think that this is the way to retain customers...do you?

Absolutely, move one you might find a better provider.

But remeber what you pay what you get... for $19.95 a month for 20GB/150GB, i would assume this type of service only.

Search this forum, you could find a better host!

I am a real cheepe scate and will wait it out for a short time so that I can get my own server going.

I cant stand not being in control!!
I would rather spend hours on a server that was down, that I was repairing my self that realying on some yahoo who has more customers than they can handle;)
