I am new to plesk, i was a hardcore cPanel user.....yet i just recently switched to plesk to see how it is. Well, i like it, just one problem, subdomains dont work. I create one, it makes the folder in vhosts/domain.com/subdomains/subhere/httpdocs/........yet when i put files in this, and access it on the web, all i get is the main page. in the dns, it automatically puts subhere.domain.com - a - xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

anyone have an idea on what to do, this is a default plesk install with latest version, installed 2 days ago. dns is fine i think, if you would like to see any cnf files or dns setup, please ask.

After adding the sub You have to give about 15 mins for the update, and also check that your index.html file is there

Hi,

Select the second option and create a new login and password for your sub domain. Check ASP/ASP.NET etc and go ahead.

You can upload the files to the httpdocs folder by using the following info

FTP Host: yoursubdomain.yourdomain.com
Login & Password: Just created
