RackMy.com 02-04-2002, 03:25 PM Hey crazy man, Nice Deal! :) I hope it's not in one of those empty DC in Denver that are about to close. What DC is it? Any IPs to trace to?
allan 02-04-2002, 03:42 PM Charles -- when are you going to open a data center in Northern Virginia so I can take advantage of these great deals you have :)?
cbaker17 02-04-2002, 08:33 PM haha :) who knows we have expansion plans of opening in 3 more citys in the next year, who knows maybe yours is next :)
The data center is not that of a company which is about to close :)
allan 02-04-2002, 09:10 PM Cool -- let me know when you do open a data center in the Washington DC area, I'll be your network manager in exchange for free 1U colocation :D.
TimPD 02-04-2002, 10:35 PM You may just get a order from us :). This is the best deal I ever saw on WHT so far man :). You rock lol.

Umm...just so I don't get any additional PMs, the above comment was meant as a joke :D. My wife, my mortgage company, Ford Credit Corporation, and a whole host of credit card companies don't like it when I work for free :D.
ScottD 02-04-2002, 11:23 PM Charles,
Come to Ann Arbor Michigan! A large part of the internet was born and practically died here back when the NSF was in charge. I, for one, have been just dying to see a nice colo center pop up around here -- maybe the market isn't right, but man I'd sure enjoy it!

RackMy.com 02-05-2002, 12:34 AM Hey Charles, which datacenter in Denver are you in?
cbaker17 02-05-2002, 01:02 AM Well then it wouldnt be secure now would it rack my :) Customers have 24.7 access and I can schedule tours if requested.
2Grumpy 02-05-2002, 05:17 AM is 15 amps near enough for a full rack?
Just asking I'm not really for sure.
I can't afford/don't need yet 5mbits else I'd be all over it
porcupine 02-05-2002, 09:06 AM It's supposed to be :) but hey, you never know, some people run processors like they're baseboard heaters, and that must take up a lot hehe :D
RackMy.com 02-05-2002, 09:40 AM Well then it wouldnt be secure now would it rack my Ok, now that is the silliest thing I have every hear! (Ok, almost the silliest thing) :) They don't keep the doors locked for you? Why are you reluctant in tell us?
cbaker17 02-05-2002, 01:25 PM Haha because rackmy i enjoy giving you a hard time :) If you musty must know, its off of colorado blvd in the same building Yipes's Network Operations Center is in. Crap now its not secure, if i see some body lurking around the dumpsters ill shoot first and ask later :)
if your running 40 1u servers youll prob. need more then 15 amps :) as a rule of thumb i allocate 1amp per 1u but once their booted up they dont often use more then .5 amps.
