I'm planning on getting modernbill. They setup the shopping cart and everything right?
And also if I use 2CO and Paypal is the payment gateways, do I still need SSL? All the credit card info should be input from the 2 sites.
Just wanted to double check.

You are not required to purchase/install an SSL cert with those payment gateways.

If you send the customer to 2CO or Paypal to collect the personal payment information, no, you will not need an SSL certificate. You would need one if you planned to collect cc (or other billing info) on your site instead.

It is recommended that you install SSL / cert as many people prefer a secure access at the last phase of order even before reaching the payment gateway.

But the majority of people dont even see that it is SSL. Only programmers, designers, and internet geeks can tell that.

that's true, use SSL for make sure your client transaction is secure by SSL , or you may not use SSL maybe that can waste your money to purchase SSL certificate... all is yours :)
