What's the preferred STATS software these days? I'm using Win2K Adv Server. Curious as to what you recommend. I've heard of WebTrends and DeepMetrix's LiveStats 6.
1) Do you use stats software?
2) What do you use?

LiveStats 6 from DeepMetrix is pretty nice. We use it for our managed shared stats software and our customers seem to love it. The only problem I have is that some of the graphs are Java based and IE reacts weirdly (MS vs JAVA).
Hope that helps!

Thanks!
I tried that one and returned it! There were quite a few bugs in it, and it shows the bandwidth way off! And lastly, the resources that monster uses is just incredible!!!! That was when I had SQL on the same box as web, but now that I have a dedicated SQL box, that may be a different story.

Really? Interesting. I know we have some stats boxes that have about 100 sites on them and never really seen it being a hog.
I would bet it did have something to do with SQL on the same machine. SQL + any other software = always seems to have problems.
Let us know if you try it again.

We tried Live Stats 6 also when it first came out and there were a lot of bugs so we scratched it. We have recently placed some sites on for testing and it looks like they have fixed the bugs. Everything has been running smoothly for a month.

Urchin provides a very scalable product. http://www.urchin.com We have 10,000 plus reports running on a win2K box. Urchin is a little pricey....
