Hi,
I am looking for a good merchant account in a solid company. All I find is bad comments about triple seven which SEEMED to be my best option before finding out this forum (thanks God)
My business sells cuban cigars and cuban goods, therefore banned in the US and I DO NOT HAVE a SSN since I am not from the US and I do not live there.
I need an offshore merchant account that WORKS GREAT and that provides me with a good customer service and accepts foreign businesses that sell cuban goods.
Comments and suggestions will be REALLY appreciated.
Best regards,
Joe

If you are in the UK, you might have a loook at Nochex. Metacharge also looks pretty good, although you will need incorporation somewhere in the EU.
We're using Worldpay and are pretty happy with them. I'm not sure what kind of risk level that they would assign tobacco products.
Good luck.

Welcome to the forums cigarcommerce!
As a company grows & gets larger, the customer base grows. You will always find more & more people to complain about a service rather than give a compliment to that company.
What country are you located in?

Did anybody actually worked with them?
IMHO they are just a bunch of talkers playing some conspiracy theory. Couldn’t even get underwriting bank name out of them… They said “we reveal bank name after you sign all papers”
Looks lika a joke to me...

Beware of SCS Offshore aka CCoinz.com. Here is whats happening with my rolling reserve as i type...
I was finally able to get an answer from CCoinz as to why they are witholding people's rolling reserve....
"Your funds are part of a pooled reserve held in an escrow account for the benefit of the acquirers of the Commercecoinz merchant accounts (see your executed agreements). One of the acquirers has asked the escrow holder to suspend reserve payouts pending final outcome of a possible fine, which is currently being disputed by our management. If the fine stands, all Commercecoinz merchants will bear this fine pro-rata out of the reserve pool. This dispute process is being pushed along aggressively by our senior management. We hope to have an outcome for you as quickly as possible. There are surplus reserves available, over and above the possible fine, so it becomes an accounting issue only, once the fine situation is resolved one way or the other."
God knows how long this will take to settle now. If anyone dealing with this same issue finds out more please post your findings here so we can keep everyone informed.

Why don't you take a look at forcetronix.com? I am not their customer at the moment but they are very helpfull, especially Nicos on MSN. Their fees are also reasonable.
Forcetronix might be a good choice for your needs.
Good luck.

Forcetronix does not do business with Costa Rica. The same with me, from Argentina. (http://www.forcetronix.com/faq.html#15)
We, in Latin America, have a slim range of possibilities.
I will appreciate another piece of advice. Thanks a lot anyway.
