I have been using Namcheap for almost a year and it has been grand. I have had no problems and I love their interface compared to places like GoDaddy, RegisterFly, etc. Its easy to access what I want and edit multiple domains in no time. They are really an impressive company with a great feature of allowing paypal payments.

I have bought a total of around 16 domains and plan to buy more soon.

:)

Lucky you, i had 30 names with them and all of a sudden they turned out bad. Issues with depositing funds, renewing names and even transferring away. I will no longer use namecheap, too many issues in a short period of time. I am pleased so far with the company I am using now and I can reach someone any time of the day.

glad to hear of your good experience Kerry. it is quite refreshing to hear good things about a company, since it almost always is the complete opposite in these parts :)

I have 2 domain names registered through namecheap and am quite happy with them. I have not had any problems for the last year I have been with them.

I like the interface as well and the most important, it is much more easier to create nameservers there, in comparison to other Registrars I have used.

Kind Regards,

Mike

I used to have domains at various registrars. I have moved them all over to namecheap. I now have over 90 domains with them and am very satisfied. Always good experiences with them.

we highly recommend namecheap, their interface is great, and easy to use, plus tutorials are provided.

and most importantly: when orderring a domain, you won't be forced to go through 5 pages, browsing other products that you will never need.

Howmuch does each domain cost you? Godaddy is good because it's cheap.

It's a false issue. People happy with their registrar don't come here to let us know. Only people not happy come here to complain. But for one guy who complains there are 99 guys that have nothing to say because everything's fine for them. So you can't judge a registrar because it gets 4 or 5 bad comments here and there.

So true,
These forums seem to have some companies staff or business partners pumping up positive comments in the forums about them.

It is good to hear that people don't always have complaints.
Must mean that for most people the company must be doing the right thing.

If a Registrar never gets mention in a negative or positive way must mean that it is doing such a good job that people don't have to be paid to fill forums with positive comments to combat the complaints.

WHOA!!!! Hold the phone. If you are suggesting that Kerry Jones was paid to make this statement... then you don't KNOW Kerry Jones. He speaks his mind positive or negative.

How dare you come on here with 16 posts and make such an accusation.

Hello 4solutions,
Big Hugs and Happy Birthday for last week,
nice to meet you,
thanks for the warm welcome

This was not in anyway a comment about Kerry, I would never assume something about someone I do not know,

My comment was very much a general comment about my first impressions of posts and the forum as a whole.

People seem to only mention two or three companies, or the resellers of these companies, and we all know that there are a lot of domain name registrars and resellers out there, no one seems to ever say anything about them, I was merely stating that you could safely assume that no news is good news?

If I see a service that is good and i'll give it a whirl. I hated godaddy's control panel because it seems rather complex. I also decided to choose NameCheap because they allowed paypal despoits to your account. I do have one minor question about the accounts in general. If we have a leftover balance how are we to get it back? I have like $6 in my account and the min to transfer over is $8.88.

Howmuch does each domain cost you? Godaddy is good because it's cheap.

Its $8.88 / yr for .com, .net, .org, and .info. I'm not sure on the other extensions because I have only bought these types.

Well transfer $11.76 the next time around that way you'll have $6 + $11.76 = $17.76 so enough to buy 2 domains and for your account to be $0 afterwards.
