I know you can get ahold of the owners at JodoHost, diyhosting, even I chat with customers from time to time. But I am not sure any "big" companies would do that. I don't mind, but I can't speak for all reseller hosts of course. VER-Mo 11-17-2004, 05:38 PM I like the flexibility that comes with using small companies. I feel less like client number 4567743324. (By small companies I mean those with less than say, 500 customers.) bannerdepo 11-17-2004, 05:48 PM There are a few big companys out there you can still talk to the owners. It all depends how activly involved they are in the company. I do think the owner should always be involved though. If your not they start loosing touch and have no clue whats going on. Seen it happen and it's not to fun. IHSL 11-17-2004, 07:26 PM Originally posted by Vortech What do you define big as 100 resellers, 500 resellers, 1000 reseller 10,000 reseller? I only speak only special occasions :D In all seriousness, I do try and pitch in on tech support (if/when) needed, but I mainly do sales, as that's my field. You'll very rarely have me doing the tech side as I am not needed, unless it's a special exception (client exception, or instance). Simon |
