Greetings from Saburovo.com!

For those who don't know me, I buy RackShack servers, pay setup fees and resell them without any up-front fees for a bit higher monthly price. Because of setup fees, it is cheaper to go with Saburovo.com for the first 6-12 months depending on the server.

At the moment 4 of the following servers are available:

$150/mo. - 1 GHz/512 MB of RAM/20 GB hard disk
$160/mo. - 1 GHz/512 MB of RAM/40 GB hard disk
$170/mo. - 1 GHz/1024 MB of RAM/40 GB hard disk
$190/mo. - 1 GHz/1024 MB of RAM/2x40 GB hard disks

All servers include:
- unlimited domains Ensim WEBppliance 3.0 control panel
- 300 GB actual transfer, additional transfers are at $1.5/GB
- 1 IP address, 7 more IPs are free, additional IPs are $25 one time per request + $1/mo. per IP

You can test ping/download speed from one of the servers here:
customer.saburovo.com/uumap.tar.Z

With one of the servers I am able to achieve the average transfer speed of over 5 Mbps, with bursts up to 12 Mbps, for more than 2 weeks in a row and running:
rackshack.net/bandwidth/workdir1/64.246.6.246_121.html

You can subscribe at saburovo.com/subscribe. Please allow up to 24 hours to provide you with login/password information.

Do you have anything with no setup for $100 or less per month? If you have $50/mo, I'll get two.

wouldn't he still make more money selling just one at $150/mo?

cheers,

Optix;

he resells rackshack servers which are $99/mo + $350 or so setup, noone here has dedicated servers for $50/mo, heck, it'd take a year if not more just to pay for the hardware at that price. You need to get a little bit of a grip on the pricing, and prices here are probably some of the cheapest on the net.

You mean to say that prices here are not the cheapest on the net .. tell me where you can get vendors posting webhosting packages at better rates than WHT. :)

I honestly doubt you can find it anywhere cheaper. But it's not like i'm omnescent, so i couldn't in good faith assure someone taht they were when i can't proove it. It's safe to say they're among the best though, i mean look at it. Most of the deals you find here will cost you upwards of $500/mo or $1,000/mo elsewhere.

Heh, Heh, what do you think he's trying to do? Give everyone a loan out of the goodness of his heart? Of course he's trying to make money, he's a reseller, at least he's hit a reasonable angle though. Nothing bugs me more then running into half a dozen resellers taking a service and just jacking the rates by 50%, without changing a thing, just to try and scoop some of the sucess.

porcupine, I am quite confused with what you are trying to say ...But my reply above was directed towards optix who wants 2 servers from him at $50/mo each.

cheers,

Oh, oops, my mistake. I thought you were one of the people (from previous posts on reselling rackshack servers with no setup fee's) that were going "but you'd make money off me in the long run!".. Sorry

Optix: my guess is that nothing happens :D

Seriously, why don't you sit down and think a little before you post...? This forum is about business and also about fun, but some of these last posts of yours are just too funny ;)

If only these were not lowly Duron processors and used a real processor such as an AMD XP...

No you cannot take over the server directly from Rackshack because he needs to make back his money for the setup fees plus some... that's the point of him shelling out money is get a return on it.

He has a 5 day trial period but if I were him I would think twice about about giving someone a trial period who are asking the questions you're asking. If you don't have $350 or more for setup fees, it's one of the best deals around since it has a full control panel. If you didn't need a control panel to manage hosting customers there are some other deals to be had.

He's a good guy and will be very fair and forgiving but he runs a business so I wouldn't sign up and 'play' with a server if you have no intention of paying for it.

You will have to pay for the traffic though, $1.5/GB for above 300 GB. 5 Mbps translates to approx. 1500 GB a month, which amounts to $1.5 x 1200 (first 300 are free) = $1,800 a month for the traffic alone. For such money you may want to buy Cogent's 10 Mbps line at some colo provider instead.

k , do you pay 1800$ for that server ?

rastoma, you obviously have to reread my posts. If I buy from him, pay $150 for 3 months or so and realize that I really like it and money is to be made then OBVIOUSLY I would pay the rackshack setupfee. My question was just asking if this is possible or if I have to continue to pay the $150 even if I want to break off and move directly with rackshack.net.

Geeze. My questions are not stupid. You guys simply misread them and assume too many things. I can easily afford the setup fee, etc but I'm wondering if it's worth getting a server in the first place.

That is why I want to try it out first. Are you serious about the 5 day trial?

porcupine

Then you'd drop his server, and go pay the $350+ setup fee at rackshack + $99/mo, so almost $500 for the first month, and $100 after that. Trials of this nature are for people who know what they're buying, what they want, and just want to verify that everything is "as advertised", i think you would make many enemies taking people up on trials and then saying "yes, it does work" and then not buying anything, its like going to baskin robins, getting samples of all 32 flavors of ice cream, and not buying a single cone.

I have a question related to support, do we go to saburovo for support or will RS let us go right to them for support tickets? Just wondering what the turn around time difference would be not going directly to RS for the server.

Thanks

RS does not allow reseller's customers to enter information into RS tickets. I put the problem turnaround time as 24 hours, usually it is solved much faster (few hours).

About 90% of problems I am solving with with my customers are not supported by RackShack and never escalated to them (e.g. PHP or Perl configuration, software upgrades etc.). RackShack only supports hardware and network related problems for dedicated server customers.

So, if you have a hardware or network issue I can't solve myself and have to go to RackShack (e.g.: need to install additional hard disk, memory, get more IP addresses), the additional time would be anywhere between 2 and 24 hours compared to going to RS directly.

If you have a software problem there is no any additional waiting time, as RackShack does not support such kind of problems.
