Credit card is "new" in Vietnam, I had a credit card several months ago, it's very difficult to have a credit card before.

I also have just purchased a reseller account to sell hosting in my country. Credit card is now popular in Vietnam so I think I must accept pay with credit card on my website. But I don't know:

1. What is merchant account? and gateway?
2. What I must do to accept credit card process on my website?
3. I think 2co can do it for me (?) but I have read a lot of bad review about it? Worldpay doesn't accept Vietnam?

Do you mean you want to resell web hosting to US and other Euro countries? 2co is the answer. And you have to have a US bank account so that you can signup with worldpay to get a merchant account.

Some hosting company in Vietnam registered at 2co.
I don't have an us bank account.

is 2co good? How about paypal?

2checkout is enough good.
I use it 2 years without big problems.
Paypal is not accessible for you.

Internet Cache might be perfect for you, if you don't want to pay the setup fee like with 2CO

It works the same like paypal or stormpay, but they do accept member all over the world, including Vietnam I believe.

Your customers doesn't even have to open an account with them. They just have to enter their CC info (on the secure server of course) and click submit.

They will then process the Credit card on your behalf and the money will be instantly sent to your account. You can then withdraw your money via their free ATM/Debit card. You can withdraw your money in any ATM with cirrus/maestro logo.

Hi Liem,

A merchant account is a special bank account that enables your business to accept payment by credit card. Merchant accounts still need a gateway to accept the payments.

A Gateway (or payment processor) acts as the interface between the merchant and the Credit Card Processing Clearinghouse. The Gateway is used to submit payment information to the Clearinghouse and securely sends and receives payment transaction messages.
In simple terms the gateway is the middleman between you (the vendor) and the big banks that authorize the cc payment.

*edited to add this:
2CO and paypal are what is called 3rd party processors.
With a 3rd party processing system you don't need to obtain a merchant account.
The 3rd pp - you use their merchant account to process under and they are also your gateway*
