The areas come up fast (don't you hate those long winded transitions?). Hmm.. overall it's a little plain though. Maybe something to break up the black and blue. A different color (maybe grey) for the text areas? Some more animation stuff for the logos and surrounding areas (subtle is the key of course). In all, it's sort of a case for using html rather than flash. To make it worth it Flash has to be pretty interesting to hold my attention. I'm far more critical of a flash site than a html one when I see one, as in most cases it would have been better off staying away from Macromedia products :) A case in point is my own site. I just installed a flash 'bit' on the index page but am seriously thinking of tossing it as I'm finding better uses for the real estate there. Maybe a html page with a flash 'presentation' option. Umm, did that help at all? (it's 4am here sooo..) :) Greg Moore nate 12-02-2000, 10:56 PM excellent use of design. excellent contrast of dark blue and white. extreme simplicity of navigation! overall an 9 out of 10! all of this adds up to sucess :) (glad you had an html version too.) |
