I really wish Site 5 still had their forums, that way it'd be easier to figure out what's going on.

Anyways, I'm on Infinity at Site 5. I keep getting FTP errors, "Cannot put file X.php" I also get the error "Disk quota Full"

I need to know if I'm the only one, I've sent them a support request, but I really need this fixed, I have work to do. So, I just want to know if anyone on Infinity is having these same problems.

I realize I'd be lucky to find someone else on infinity on these forums, however, maybe others of you can help, would anything on this page: http://infinity.site5.com indicate what the problem is? What about the 93% on /home, could that be the problem?

Thanks,

Actually, Site5 does still have their forums. They removed them for awhile but they returned, at a new URL. It is http://www.site5.com/community/

As for FTP problems, I honestly haven't tried to connect today but I was working on my site yesterday and it worked fine. I am also on Hyperion so maybe this is just a problem with Infinity.

Out of curiosity, I tried to FTP into my site just now and it works. Again, I'm not on Infinity so maybe that's why...

Jonathan,

This means that your account has met or exceeded it's allotted disk space. You will either need to remove some files from your account, or upgrade to a plan with more disk space. If you believe that for some reason your disk quota is being miscalculated, you will need to alert our support staff.

Also--as if I needed to point out--issues like this should be sent to our support team, not posted here. The mere fact that I frequent the WebHostingTalk forums does not make them a private support resource for Site5 customers. I also suspect that the other members here don't appreciate the forums being littered with general support inquiries from every which company. I know that as a user of these forums, I certainly don't.

FYI: If you are unsure as to the best way to obtain support for our services, please visit site5.com/support or site5support.com (they both go to the same place). Additionally, if you should ever have a complaint about our services, we request that you direct it toward management@site5.com. We will do our best to address it as quickly as possible (note that this is not an expedited support email address!). If you suspect that there is a server-wide outage, chances are that we are already aware of it (check noc.site5.com and our community forums to see if we have posted anything)--however you can use our emergency paging system to alert the on-duty system administrator(s).

In this case, since you have already contacted our support team regarding the issue, you have nothing to worry about. We should be getting back to you shortly.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Matt,

I'm sorry, about posting here. I would've posted this on your forums, but I couldn't find a link on your site to them, so I assumed they were gone.

The ONLY reason I posted this here is because I wanted to see if others were having this problem. I didn't mean, not did I say anything bad. I know that's it's not my disk space, so I thought it might be something server wide. I'll take up this issue with you privately. Please respond soon though, I have work to be done, and not a place to post it. :)

Thanks,
