hi, I would install on my raq4 a second copy of Postgresql.
I know my raq has one installed upon that is based the GUI. so I don't want mess up nothing of that.
Anyone opted for this solution? any suggestion?

You can just create a new database but not have to re-install the entire server, and you should be A-okay.

thank Drew but I don't want to share the instance of pgsql on that is builded the GUI with customers databases, this is the reason why ask for a second pgsql server on the raq.
this second instance will be for customers purpose..
ehi people I know someone is running his raq in this way...please You make a step ahead and help me ;)

In this case the best way to go about your preferred set-up is to set up pgSQL on another port.
