Does anyone use h-sphere ? What do you think about this program ? Is this valid for a web hosting solution ?

Thank you

As a control panel it is okay when we tested it. We tested it before and found it to be good looking but did not have many server functions. The main reason for our test was the automated billing and sign up. There are many that are going to be able to that and much more before to long. The panel at http://www.smarthostingtools.com is supposed to be released by Dec. from what I have heard and has many useful features. Don't forget that http://www.plesk.com is going to release a new version that seems to pretty good from what I heard and http://www.vdi.net has released their CP to the public and looks very good. In summary it was alright about 5 months ago but is going to be very obsolete in another 5 months if they leave the panel the way it is.

Ok
h-sphere is bad :)
Smarthostingtool does not exist and i think that it will not exist soon.
I have tried plesk but my customers can only add or delete mail.

I see Sphera but they want to sell, at least, the license for 5 servers.

I see Vdi cpanel but it is too much expensive. with 249$/month i can get a new half server :)

I need some other ideas... :(

Thank you :)

I realize this thread is getting old but I thought I could help. http://www.ultraspeedusa.com can give you a deal on a server with the vdi panel packaged on it for a total price that is reasonable.

Ron ... any VDI host can give you CPanel for 25.00 .. that is not the point of the thread

Carlos,

It may not be the point of the thread but NHosting felt that the VDI panel was out of his reach. I just wanted to point out that it wasn't.

Perhaps you would like to share with the forum who some of the major VDI hosts are that bundle the Cpanel.

By the way, are you sure it is not the ChickenPanel?

Some of the VDI hosts that use cpanel are

Ultraspeed
Site5
LiquidWeb
Wizardshosting

The list goes on....

Most of the hosts over at VDI, use it. There might be a few exceptions though.

Ron .. my point as is .. everybody complains of the price tag 249.00 .. but in the same post they talk about sphera and others .. but don't compain they cost TWICE as much ... why is it ok for other to cost 400, but is not ok for CPanel to cost 249 ?

I'm not attacking anyone here, I just find it frustrating

I think the problem is is that yours is 249.00/month for ever while others our only a one time 400.00 fee. I too feel 249.00/month for the life of the server is rediculous.

Plesk is a one time fee of 550.00 and I dont know how much sphera is now but it use to be only 2.00/per host
