My servers came with two NICs.

1) Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit
2) Intel Pro 100 S

I'm using a colo that obviously has the normal 100 mbit switch.

Which NIC would you use as your connection? Which one is better?

unless you are pulling some SERIOUS bandwidth into/from that server, the Intel will do just fine

We have worked with both and the Intel seems to be better. For some reason, the Broadcoms tend to drop thier connection every now and then.
