just a RAQ4 question.

Top says that there are about 15 httpd processes permanently started, but they are definitively doing nothing. The problem is, that every process of them is taking about 10% of the memory (~150%????). Does it seem to be a problem, or is this behaviour quite normal?

Very normal.

They are not taking 10% of the memory each. They _share_ most of the memory they use up - so actually you would see that all 15 httpd processes together take up approx. 10% of the RAM.
