ok this is 1 million, 1,000,000 is this 1,000,000,000 1 billion, or is it one hundred million equal one billion

1,000 million equals 1 billion

1 billion = 1,000,000,000
1 million = 1,000,000

There is a difference between what Americans consider a billion and what the British consider a billion (I don't know about the rest of the world). You can get different answers that are all correct, as, like so many things, they depend on one's perspective.

Why not use computer lingo?

1x10e24 = 1 yotta
1x10e21 = 1 zetta
1x10e18 = 1 exa
1x10e15 = 1 peta
1 Trillion = 1 tera
1 Million = 1 mega
1 Billion = 1 giga
1 Thousand = 1 kilo
1 Hundred = 1 hecto
1 Ten = 1 deka
1 = One
and 2+2=4

Chiefly British: The cardinal number equal to 10 to the twelfth power.
