Ivan gonzalez: ok
Josh Williams: Ok, the problem is Turck MMCache, you'll need to disalbe that on your php installation
Ivan gonzalez: humm, is better if i go back to 4.3.9
Ivan gonzalez: or better to turn it off and use php5
Josh Williams: Either way should be okay

I still won't be using PHP5 on a production environment for quite some time yet. Personally I'd stick with 4.3.9

I agree.

For exemple on our servers we do not provide PHP5 yet. For some well known software such as phpbb for exemple, on their web site they say that they do not provide any support yet if we use php5. These guys are PHP gurus so there is certainly a reason. I would stick with PHP4 for a while, it's a reference.

I wont be migrating to PHP5 until at least another 9-12 months after it has been in production for a little while. I have heard many good things about it, but I have ALOT of code and alot of applications I maintain.

If you are starting with a new project, I would recommend going stright to PHP5 though so you wont have to migrate any code in the future. Apps < PHP5 will still work on a PHP5 installation though I have heard without any modification.
