Excuse this newbie question.

What advantage does a Raq has over a normal x86 package dedicated server. I am refereing here to RS packages which pitch for a similar price an antediluvian K6-2 vs a Duron 1G. Is the rAQ better for newbies like me or is there a catch?

Yes, RAQ is very easy to admin via its GUI. But keep in mind that a RAQ is an AMD 450mhz CPU.

You should search the forum, there has been numerous discussions about this before.

If your not a sysadmin type of guy I would recommend the Raq.

It also depends on what you want to do as a business.
