Hello,

I have just installing osticket to see how it works, and I think I like it better than other helpdesk system comes with cpanel.

I like the idea that clients doesn't have to register whatsoever, they just simply fill in the form and the tikcet will be created.

However, when i tried them, it seems that when the clients replied directly through the email, it does not re-open automatically the ticket. Even in the "view closed" ticket options the replied message doesn;t come through!

So, the only message that I get is in the support email, but not in the osticket system

So, is it the way osticket works? or may be I did something wrong with the setting?

Please tell me whoever already used osticket and have experience with it!

Also, is there any possible way that clients doesn;t have to fill in the form, but they also have the options to wriite to admin@domain.com and the ticket will also created? Can osticket does this?

If can not, is there any other free helpdesk script outside od cpanel that works the way I want it to?

Thank you in advance!

Yes you have to just create categories with pop3server, userid password etc.
And it will open automatically. Or you can also try to run automail.php directly.
The other alternative is that you can put piping in /etc/aliases in ur unix server and put automail.pl in cron.

Thanks
