I'm currious if this is a completley nuts idea, or if it would/could work. I could just try it I suppose, but I'm interested in any comments anyone may have. It might make an interesting workspot.net clone...

Ya, I would just try it out. But why exactly would you want to run X on a VPS?

Mostly to use as a shared environment... like for co-web-browsing. I'm also kind of addicted to Virtuozzo's instant restore to a previous backup (instant = 12mins) which is really great for expierementing.

If anyone's interested it seems to be working fine.... and Quick too. At least with only one VPS running XWindows, and 5 VPS's total on a dual xeon with 2GB of ram....
