View Full Version : Super Bowl Predictions
TheGAME1264 02-01-2002, 01:12 AM Okay, to get the ball rolling based on the single biggest event of the sporting year coming up this Sunday, I'm going to make my Super Bowl prediction:
New England will do a fairly good job at keeping the score respectable but St. Louis has too many offensive weapons to be denied. Final Score: St. Louis 31, New England 24. Super Bowl MVP: Marshall Faulk.
DigitalXWeb 02-01-2002, 02:06 AM Rams 37 - Patriots 20 , I agree with the MVP.
AlaskanWolf 02-01-2002, 05:37 AM Atlanta Braves take it all the way....doooaaahhhhh....wrong sport...sorry dont want football that much, but would have to root for Rams
DjPaj 02-01-2002, 08:04 AM Sorry guys, it's the Pats all the way baby, I call win by a Field Goal, with the MVP being Troy Brown.
Coach is a defensive magician and he will find a way to shut down the "dynmaic duo", just as he did with the Bus and Kordell.
We'll prove to the world that we are no fluke and all the people who say we don't have a chance in hell can kiss my ass when we win. :D
Jason Ellis 02-01-2002, 01:45 PM Patriots 27
Rams 24
In overtime :stickout
Honestly, no matter who wins, it's going to be a damned good game to cap off a damned good season.
But that Pats have to win. I mean, 3rd times the charm, right?
Jason
DjPaj 02-01-2002, 02:39 PM Just a small update, Isaac Brown (Rams receiver) left practice today with goin problem (HAHA). So come Sunday, Brown will have a sore goin, Az-Zahir Hakim has a sore ankle, so that puts the Rams air game under 100%. All that needs to happen is either Bruschi, Johnson, or McGinest needs to put a nice hit on Werner and bubye Kurt, bubye Rams air game. Plus no back-up QB on the Rams (well I guess we could always give'em Beldsoe)
Super Bowl Champions, New England Patriots!!!
brently27 02-01-2002, 02:50 PM I am going to say da Bears! Oops they did not make it. I would like to see NE win, but AFC teams rarely do well in the big dance. Denver just got lucky. So I will say Rams -31 NE- 14

I think the quote only applies to teams that don't absolutely suck. But hey, wait'll next year! I'll be cheering the Bills on to victory! One victory, 15 losses. ;)

Hehehe, my sentiments exactly, since ya'll are stuck with Rob Johnson now after keeping him over Flutie, you deserve to never be a championship team ever again.
creid 02-01-2002, 11:27 PM Rams-37
Pats-17

Never said I was a Bills fan because I'm not. :) ESPECIALLY after the Flutie deal. Being from Canada, I saw Flutie play a lot as a CFL quarterback and, much like Jeff Garcia, he should have been in the NFL the whole time.
I'm actually a Cowboys fan. I love the whole intrigue that surrounds "America's Most Wanted' team. You can get some really good pools going on which member of the offensive line is going to be arrested next for possession or concealing a weapon. :)
