We use OpenSRS http://opensrs.net for domain registrations, and the domain registration/management script we use is OpenSRS-SF at http://sourceforge.net/projects/opensrs-sf/

openSRS are great,
but if you are just starting, you should look at dotster.com or inchaos.com, they both offer some level of integration...

inchaos.com is actually a reseller for http://www.itsyourdomain.com
