We could only hope.

Unfortunately, no.

Donhost control panel is among the best I've ever worked with. Why doesn't Daniel sell it is a mistery to me. Compared to terrible service Donhost provides to resellers, this could be a great venture for him...

As a side note: Donhost servers are freeBSD based and employ clustering, so there might be a problem running it on single linux machines...

I suggest everyone writes to Donhost, suggesting they should make their cp available for purchase. It might give Danel a little nudge in that direction. Although I think he's already reading all this anyway...

He did sell it at one point, but he has stopped. I emailed him a few weeks ago asking if he'd consider selling it again. He said no and he doubts he ever will.

Is it better than WHM + Cpanel?

To me, Donhost cp looks like a very clean, efficient and very good looking piece of software. It's about three times faster than Plesk, for example, has all the functionality and is far better organized. All menus are self explanatory, unlike Ensim, H-Sphere and some others.

I only tried WHM/Cpanel demo - but yes, Donhost seemed a lot better than Cpanel. Not so many gadgets, though.

When compared to Plesk, Ensim and other "big time" panels, Donhost beats them all, IMHO.

I must say, Donhost cp was the only thing I really missed after I left...

Smirks: do you know why he stopped selling it...? I suspect back end is not so clean and efficient as it looks from user/reseller point of view...

or he might want to retain his main competitive advantage

I think people would definetly buy the control panel to use. I would do that since at that point I would not have to work with the terrible staff at donhost again. We wouldn't even have to mention that name.

:kaioken: grrrrrrrrrrrr............stupid donhost
