A site I have hosted with CyberTitan has been unreachable for ***two*** days now. Also CyberTitan's site is down: www.cybertitan.com.
Anyone out there from this company? Anyone having the same trouble?
Thanks

Looks like the DNS is down-And needs to be re-started. I can ping to their IP- and open the page in the browser:
http://66.179.5.7/ Anyway- Thats where the pings to cybertitan.com took me.
Try to call that support number- evidently they don't know they have a problem.

We used to host our forums on Cybertitan ( www.siteownersforums.com ). Our site is down for 5 days!!!!!
What can I tell to our members who spend their useful time visiting our forums and discussing with us?
There have been more than 2,500 members the time the site went down... Of course I see no future for our site and I wonder who is going to give us back all the hours we spent building this community.
We are looking into taking legal actions against the company. I wonder if anyone here has done this before.

The CyberTitan site is up (redirects to LightSpeedHost). I've written to them twice now and have gotten no reply. My site has been down since Tuesday. I agree. This is unacceptable! Anyone have any ideas about what to do?

I don't know......
The bad thing is that we are really far away (Greece) to travel there...
On the other hand we feel responsible as our community was built by its members, so by losing everything it's a total disaster not only for us but for our members as well...
And what about backup? Why don't they send us a backup of the site so we can move it somewhere else? It's not a simple website we can simply upload...

I know what you mean. We are in Italy. It is unacceptable that they do not respond to email!

Cybertitan AKA Lightspeed has held several websites I own hostage going on 2 months now. They are down and not answering phones and or e-mails. I imagine there is no recourse in regards to site recovery. On top of that, we are still be billed!! Any suggestions? It's almost March and we have lost considerable business.

Ok safe to assume that cybertitan and lightspeed are out of business, my sites have been offline for over a month, they respond to no emails, have no websites up and all support lines have been disconnected.
I had to contact bulkregister.com and have them release my domains, cybertitan put the domain name as the admin email, therefore I couldn't change dns or anything since I couldn't respond to emails sent to domain hosted by cybertitan them.
I'm pretty pissed off, they've killed a very successful site, they claimed they were "upgrading" their servers, were they hell, they packed up and left us all in the lurch. I feel sorry for all those who had reseller accounts with them the losses must be great.
I'm gutted, really am.
Finding reliable hosts is getting very hard these days! They go up and down like yo yo's this is a classic worst case senario though.

I was able to get my site info back as well as transfer to another web host through a gentleman named Tom Cirner tcirner@alabanza.com
Chris -
I'm sorry to hear that you were another victim of cybertitan's poor business ethics. I can certainly get your data back for you. There is a $50 retrireview fee, or I can refer you to another webhost who has been known to pick up the retrireview fee for you if you sign with them. Either way, I will help you in any way that I can. I will need your domain name and the username that was used while with Cybertitan.
Let me know what you would like me to do.
Thanks,
Tom
I went through Tom which led me to linuxwebhost.com They will
transfer your website free of charge if you use them as your webhost. It was all pretty straightforward.
Good Luck,
Chris
