Quite frequently I send messages that just don't get delivered.
I have a Raq3 with 512MB RAM, and reverse DNS lookup has been set up for this domain.
I have been sending test mailings to various addresses, and it seems when I send 10 messages using my RaQ, 2 will simply go missing. If I send 10 using my ISP mail server, they all seem to arrive. This seems to be happening quite often now.
I am using Outlook Express 6.00.2600.0000
I looked in my email logs after sending a batch of 10 emails.
In my logs only 9 emails were listed, and of those 9, only 8 arrived at the other end.
Of the 9 messages in my logs, 2 said "stat=Deferred: Connection
reset by smtpsrvr.btconnect.com" and 7 said "stat=Sent (Submitted & queued (23/msg.29864-1))"
So is this a RaQ problem, an outlook express problem, or a receiving problem?
How can I find out?
