I'm not exactly sure of the extent of the promotion offers. If I was a webhosting company selling hosting by the month payments. Does the promotion proceed for ONLY their first month, and then i have the right to introduce my normal prices since promotion time has ended. Or does promotion mean that I have to keep offering that price every month. I'm slightly confused about this, hope someone can clear this up for me, thanks.

skyxliner, it all depends on what you plan on doing with your promotion. You can do it either way. For example, you might want to offer a free trial, and then after the trial ends the accounts reverts to normal pricing. Or, you may want to introduce a promotion that gives a % or $ amount off each monthl for the life of the account. Or mix and match for different account types.

thank you for your reply, so basiclly its up for me to decide as long as I let my customers know the rules of the promotion. I just didn't want to offend any customers if i choose to do one over the other. Once again, thanks for the fast responce.

You could have a promotion for a day, week, month, year, etc. Must hosts have a promotion for the first month and then offer you the regular prices for each month after.

It's basically up to your to define the promotion criteria. Common ones are:

- You can offer 2 extra months free on every 12 months order
- 1st month free
- Or Price $7.95 for 12 months order
$9.95 for 6 months
$12.95 for monthly etc.
