Just wanna warn anybody about my experience with these people.

Around September 2001, I tried out their so called "unlimited" hosting deals. Well, their server was up and down like a yoyo and usually when it was up, it was piss slow.

With the help of a buddy of mine, we found out that the box my domain was put on was a Pentium 200!!

So, I told them that I wanted to cancel my account with them.

All the time, I corresponded with a "Mike Mcguire". He apologized for the bad service and blaimed at some internal problem. He told me they'd give me a full refund.

Well, the refund never happened and I has already forgotten about the whole thing when all of a sudden in the middle of January, my credit card gets charged $89.99.

I promtly sent them an e-mail asking for an explanation and of course, no reply.

So, anybody considering doing any business with them should think twice.

I'm gonna call my bank tomorrow and issue a chargeback on these bastards.

Hi,
Sorry to hear about your experience. I would recommend a few things to protect yourself in the future:

-generally avoid "unlimited" storage & transfer hosts, as the term is truly deceptive. Such deception can be a sign for the future.

-Considering using a credit card instead of check card, as you have many more rights using a credit card online (with your credit card service) then with a bank card.

Good luck on your future hosting experiences :)
