Maybe we should just start ignoring threads like these and not reply. Maybe that'll get them to search.

<Excuse the offtopic, and apology to andrewfayor>

You know, that's what I was thinking too. I have been replying these repetitive posts with "welcome...search the forum..."

Except that there will be some semi-newbie who rushes in and answer the question. until they get tired of answering the repeated questions, and some other semi-newbies come in.... <the cycle continues>

I think there should be a posting guideline for the forum, so people/newbie knows to search before post.

Well, it's not really that big a deal for me... It gets a bit old, but I can just ignore it. However, I think there should be a "topped" thread that includes all the cp's out there, so any newbie can clearly see it rather than post this often-asked question.

Agreed, I think some mod should make that control panel long list thread sticky.

Well i'm very glad that friend in webhostingtalk.com could help me to find the good control panel.

Yes, i'm very newbie in here...:-))

Anyway, thank you for Dr. Atomic for the longlist of Cpanel!

Btw, which is the best one and why?

Thank you!

Considering the amount of drivel that get's typed here at WHT, I can't believe people/members complain about pointing newcomers to the 'search' concept.. But I guess it must be the mental strain.. :)

Most newcomers are doubtless not aware of the forum etiquette and may not realise that there are such rules or even that they should look for them..

If it troubles you then ignore them..
