Image Properties ---- Animated with 23 frames... Hmm... Chicken 01-31-2002, 02:40 AM That should be re-done in flash, full screen (my opinion). UNIXIELHOST 01-31-2002, 02:59 AM This is old news, I saw it million times when people show to me I find scary first time though After that, it's useless XTStrike 01-31-2002, 04:18 AM isnt it strange that all us IT Geek type people open the picture and instantly click "View Source" and Right Click>Properties the picture. then export it and open it up in a gif editor to find out what it is!!, lol now a normal person would have been freaked out and not gone any further, hehehe dektong 01-31-2002, 04:28 AM At first, I almost posted here wonderring what in the world are you guys seeing; did not seem to do anything at all on my screen. Then i waited longer, give it better attention ... and zzzappp .... I was surprised, then laughed ... ha..ha... I found that funny Then, I woke up my wife ... she was still half awake ... Told her to stare at screen for a while ... then ... zzzappp ... and she was surpised/scared as well ... and did not think it was funny at all ... and now she really got pissed off ... I wonder why  cheers, XTStrike 01-31-2002, 05:37 AM women take things way too seriously. ive got this girl living in my house at the moment (shes renting the other room) and she wont stay in the house at night unless all the windows, doors are locked and the curtains and blinds are closed. lmao - not cos people might be coming to get her but there might be a ghost out there !! Skeptical 01-31-2002, 05:56 AM Actually that gif is a copycat of an exe release a year ago that was 10X scarier. What the other one did after you launch it is open up some document, let you read it, and that's it. Well so you think. It lays dormant in your system and after like 3 minutes after you've closed it a FULL screen picture of a scary woman pops up and screams at you really loud. Now that one is scary! And the worse part is, it keeps doing that over and over again till you end the task. I pulled the trick on a friend and.. well he got pretty pissed at me because he knew nothing about the task manager. :( Deb 01-31-2002, 05:57 AM My ten year old daughter is _NOT_ happy with me right now .... I blame Vortech for this little family issue and I do plan on sending Vortech the psych bill cuz I believe she just may be traumatized for life! hmm I _thought_ it was funny... I guess she doesn't share my sense of humor :D muppie 01-31-2002, 06:20 AM OK Whoever did this now has to pay for my medical bill... I am going to have heart operation !!!!! My whole body trembled and I can't type for 1 minute Next time I should avoid stuff like this... you guys are MEAN !!!! Vortech 01-31-2002, 10:12 AM I am sorry... :) May should put NOT FOR KIDS.. hehe spade 01-31-2002, 12:07 PM Oh...Gosh...!! I am scared too. I did not expect that !! :bawling: MGCJerry 01-31-2002, 01:32 PM I've lived in 2 "Haunted houses" before where seeing "ghosts" were the everyday norm... I've seen this picture on several other sites. Nothing beats waking up with "someone" standing by your bed staring at you, and slowly fades into thin air... THAT is scary at first, then you get used to it. That was the first day living there for 2 years... DigitalXWeb 01-31-2002, 03:39 PM That was funny:eek: perhaps I lost my sense of fear??? Wasn't expecting that but did not scare me.. My wife on the otherhand is now pi$$ed as well. muppie 01-31-2002, 06:18 PM Originally posted by MGCJerry I've lived in 2 "Haunted houses" before where seeing "ghosts" were the everyday norm... I know all the horror movies are supposed to be scary.. but in real life? hmmmmmmmm Rewdog 01-31-2002, 07:25 PM My Grandmother actually died while in Church one sunday, people say she haunts the church and some even say they've seen her. muppie 01-31-2002, 07:38 PM Originally posted by Rewdog some even say they've seen her. Before she died ;) optix 01-31-2002, 07:39 PM I know for a fact that there is a ghost in my basement. I live in the basement. There is a ghost here. optix 01-31-2002, 07:40 PM HAHAHA! ARE THERE ANYMORE OF THESE PICTURE THINGS? i loved it! dektong 01-31-2002, 07:48 PM Originally posted by optix I know for a fact that there is a ghost in my basement. I live in the basement. Are you telling me you consider yourself a ghost? :D cheers, muppie 01-31-2002, 07:54 PM Originally posted by optix I know for a fact that there is a ghost in my basement. I live in the basement. There is a ghost here. Look in the mirror :) optix 01-31-2002, 07:55 PM lol. no no. i am not the ghost. but there's someone else down here. i know it. i see him in the corner of my eyes all the time. hear him in the walls sometime. feel him when i walk sometimes. ewwwwww Angel78 01-31-2002, 07:56 PM is there more stuff like this? :) :) coolguy23 01-31-2002, 08:00 PM damn guy, that was scary the first time, ya my bro downloaded the one where the full screen pops up and the little scary women my bro does go on the computer alone now LOL i tried it on my other bro and he got freaked too! that was funny optix 01-31-2002, 08:03 PM awesome! are there any other pics like this one? MGCJerry 01-31-2002, 08:03 PM Yea I'm serious... No joke here. about 30 people (family and non-family) can add to this with stuff they seen and felt... Yes we were actually touched. THAT will make your hair stand on end. You would also hear the strangest stuff at night. Another scary thing at first was seeing a different reflection in a mirror. The funny parts while living there was watching our dogs barking and growling at the "ghosts". We hated that house, cause they played with your mind. Our studies determined that the house was between 90-130 years old (this was in 1998). This is why I probably have such an open mind to the unexplained, especially hauntings. Since the city was doing some highway construction, we were forced to move elsewhere so the city could tear the buildings down to make an off ramp. This house had to have been the easiest place to locate on a map. Intersection of I-10 and I-95 located in Jacksonville, Florida. The road ran parallel to I-95 "Dellwood Ave". There is more to this entire novel, but I dont think I could dredge up most of the bad memories there. Heck... That place made my sister's husbad a believer. On another "ghost" note, my 14 yr old cousin was recently murdered (found on Nov. 8, 2001) and during the funeral service, we saw her standing behind the pastor... When you go into her room, you can definatly feel her presence and she makes you know that she is there... optix 01-31-2002, 08:10 PM that's some crazy stuff man. ouch. Chicken 01-31-2002, 09:24 PM Originally posted by DigitalXWeb My wife on the otherhand is now pi$$ed as well. Seems to be a common theme (the pissed wife), and I can add mine to the list. She screamed, made the baby start screaming, etc. Ohhh well, even if you are startled for a second, one must realize it is just a picture, like a movie, etc. I suppose some people don't like that sort of thing, but I got a kick out of it. appletreats 01-31-2002, 09:31 PM I don't get it. optix 01-31-2002, 10:05 PM what do you mean you don't get it. voxtreme - philip 01-31-2002, 10:09 PM I get it and it WAS scary :bawling: Elena 01-31-2002, 10:49 PM Scary? I thought that was hilarious.. everyone I showed it to in my house thought it was funny too. I hope you all are joking when you say that scared you.. maybe you guys looked at it in the middle of the night when the lights are all off or something? who knows. JustinH 01-31-2002, 11:06 PM Actually I thought it was stupid... Scary? No. Kind of funny though. I do have to note that all of you that said you've seen, or been touched by "ghosts" are all crazy. The mind plays tricks on you, that's it. Rewdog 01-31-2002, 11:44 PM *Sends grandma to comphosting's house* MGCJerry 02-01-2002, 12:02 AM I agree the mind does play tricks on you sometimes... But calling me and my entire family plus other visitors, crazy just because saw and felt ghosts, is a different story... You obviously do not have an open mind to the unknown or even the possibility of "what if". I know what I saw, heard and lived for two years of my life, and that was no mind trick. when stuff is moved in front of you, it begins to make you think. "What if there are spirits roaming among us? What if there is a higher power all must answer too?" A really thought provoking experience. But this is one of those, you have to see it to believe it and... I believe :) JustinH 02-01-2002, 12:11 AM Sorry if I caused offense to anyone :( but really, I can't find myself believing in "ghosts" or "spirits". The idea just bugs me. The beauty of the mind is it can in fact "create" sights, smells, sounds ect. And until a ghost walks up to me and introduces himself to me I'll feel that it's all in the brain. That's just my $.02. MGCJerry 02-01-2002, 12:34 AM Thats understandable. No hard feelings comphosting... :) I guess this can be a sensitive issue. mindboggle 02-01-2002, 02:47 AM LOL, I almost jumped straight out of my chair! :D MCHost-Marc 02-01-2002, 03:10 AM :eek2: :unhappy: Now was scary ..i looked at the picture and sw nothing. I read the text again and looked closer and :buck: This is definately the best way to get away from your desk to get some fresh air. :D mindboggle 02-01-2002, 03:22 AM I feel your pain Kiwi! :D appletreats 02-01-2002, 06:21 PM That's what I don't get. The scary part. It's not scary. acidHL 02-01-2002, 07:16 PM I used to think there were ghosts in the "upstairs" of my house, kinda drifted out of that and think nothing off it but after that site everything seems to be freaking me out... I think i'll go downstairs!  :bawling: Mirage-ISP 02-01-2002, 07:22 PM EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEekkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk:bawling: Skeptical 02-03-2002, 04:09 AM How come it seems easier for people to believe in ghosts than it is to believe in the Hale Bop suicidal freaks? optix 02-04-2002, 01:12 AM what's a "Hale Bop suicidal freak"? certify 02-06-2002, 06:35 AM Caught me. freakysid 02-06-2002, 09:44 AM I am one of those Hale-Bopp "freaks" so don't dis me brother! I must say the view is swell from up here. Yeah - that made me jump too. It's funny how you first get a shock at something unexpected as that and then you get a sensation of humour. I belive humour is a neurological response to fear - or so the white-coated man who visits me once a week says. The thing is that on the web, when you click on a "blind" link like that you tend to expect the worst. So your anxiety is up already. For example. I accidently stumbled upon a link the other day, and I immediatly closed the browser window when the images started loading - and I am not talking just some sort of freaky pr0n here folks - this was seriously sick stuff. The worst they can do is kill us. That makes us ghosts too... So we ca nthen settle the score with them..... : ) I am sure there would be good ghosts to like Casper..... :) Just because a person is dead and is now a ghost does not make him/her a bad person.... Have a great day :) Regards Amar optix 02-07-2002, 12:15 PM huh? when we die we become ghosts? hahahahaha. :D anyways, do you realize how many ghosts would be in the world if that was true? Billions and Billions and Billions. There would be more ghosts then people. This just wouldn't work. Then in a sense, "we" are the ghosts while the billions of ghosts are actually the people. We'd be invading "their" privacy since there would be so many of them. Isn't this true? ........hehe.....we become ghosts when we die..........that's a good laugh. lol optix 02-24-2002, 05:03 AM anyone else have some scary stories or anything? Mester 02-24-2002, 09:22 PM Did anyone save it so they can post it so I can see? I'm getting Due to a high Bandwith cost last month this page was terminated. If you would like the picture keep checking back here for updates on the status of the picture. I hope to find a new host for the image soon. (Visit the Forums) Thanks :) JayC 03-05-2002, 01:35 PM This one's better. The setup to this one, from the email I got it in, is this: See how long it takes you to figure out what's wrong with this picture. It took me about 50 seconds to figure out. Time yourself and let me know your score. DON'T CHEAT ON YOUR TIME, YOU'LL ONLY BE CHEATING YOURSELF. http://members.telocity.com/~madmage/whatswrong.swf |
