I want to get a dedicated server for my site because normal webhost just doesn't really cut it anymore, that and i want some more bandwidth for some http hosting without killing my site due to not enough bandwidth...
currently, my host has 50GB/mo, but my site uses like 2GB/day on just visitors, so that isn't enough...
Anyways, I don't know much about dedicated servers, so I am not sure what I need, but I want around 2000GB/mo for bandwidth and a good enough server that I can host my site AND http downloads.
I am thinking of a price range of around $100, think that is a bit too little? I probably won't consider anything over $150, but maybe the bandwidth can be lowered to 1000GB and somewhere between 1000-2000.
Will that get me anything decent? I have seen some sites that offer around $100 for like 1000-3000GB, but they might not be too reliable? one of them is CIHost, and it seems to have some bad rep around here.
