Asked this on another forum; got a lot of irrelevant responses, so I'm asking here (which is a better board anyway...):

It has a horizontal scroll in FireFox and Netscape, but not in IE or Opera (or Lynx, for that matter).

It's probably something to do with my messy code, although the page is still valid XHTML/CSS (which, I've found, means absolutely nothing when debugging).

I'm guessing it's a property that one of the browser types doesn't support, but I can't figure out which.

btw, I'll be organizing my code a bit today, so hopefully people won't go blind from trying to decipher it.
